Confidential Sexual Health Testing and Treatment
What this service is
This is a streamlined, confidential sexual health service delivered through two virtual appointments. First, we complete a clinical assessment and send you with a blood test requisition. Once your results are available, we review them with you and discuss next steps, including treatment if needed.
Step 1: Virtual assessment and lab requisition
During your first visit, our clinician will review symptoms, exposure risk, past testing, and medication history. If appropriate, we will provide a requisition so you can complete bloodwork at any lab (or at one of our clinic locations).
Step 2: Review results and treatment plan
Once results are in, we book a second virtual visit to review them and confirm the plan. Treatment can be provided in clinic when appropriate, or we can send a prescription to your local pharmacy if needed.
Optional rapid testing
We also offer two rapid in-clinic tests with quick results (availability varies by location). If rapid testing is suitable for your situation, we will guide you on the best option during your assessment.

Convenient

Lab Tests Offered
Bacterial Infections
- Chlamydia & Gonorrhea: Usually tested via a simple urine sample or swab.
- Syphilis: A blood test to screen for active or past infections.
- Trichomonas: A microscopic parasite often tested alongside other bacterial infections.
Viral Infections
- HIV (Types 1 & 2): Standard blood screening for early detection.
- Hepatitis B & C: Blood tests to evaluate liver health and viral presence.
- Herpes Simplex (HSV 1 & 2): Swab testing for active lesions or blood testing for antibodies (if clinically indicated).
Urgent / Symptomatic Care
Symptomatic Swabs: Targeted testing for active symptoms such as discharge or discomfort.
Urinalysis: To rule out urinary tract infections (UTIs) which can mimic STI symptoms.
