Cancellation Policy

Last updated: February 2026

We understand that schedules change. To ensure we can continue offering timely appointments to all patients, the following cancellation policy applies to bookings at Summit Health clinics.

General cancellation policy

Appointments must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment time, and missed appointments without notice, may be subject to a fee.

Infusion appointments

Because infusion appointments involve advance medication preparation and dedicated clinical resources, cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment. Late cancellations or no-shows for infusion appointments may result in a fee covering the cost of prepared medication and reserved nursing time.

Same-day acute care

For same-day acute care appointments (e.g., medical IV rehydration, rapid testing), we understand that you may not know in advance whether your symptoms will require care. Please call us as soon as you decide not to attend. No-show fees may apply if no notice is given.

How to cancel or reschedule

You can cancel or reschedule by:

Exceptions

We recognize that medical emergencies and other unforeseen circumstances can prevent advance notice. We will waive cancellation fees in cases of demonstrated emergency or hardship. Contact us as soon as possible to discuss your situation.
