How Iron Infusions Work At Summit Health
Pre-Treatment Consultation
We review your medical requisition and recent lab results. If your prescriber is unfamiliar with the process, we provide a simple order template and coordinate directly with their office.
Pharmacy Coordination
We arrange your infusion medication with your chosen pharmacy or recommend a partner pharmacy. Delivery to the clinic is available.
Comfortable Administration
Infusions are performed in a private setting with nurse monitoring, vital signs before and after, and continuous observation during treatment.
Post-Treatment Care
Aftercare instructions are reviewed before you leave, and results are communicated back to your prescriber.
